End-to-End Delivery
I work across frontend, backend, integrations, and deployment to move ideas into production with a clear path from concept to release.
I focus on practical, maintainable solutions that improve delivery speed, system reliability, and the overall usability of the products and tools I build.

I actively explore how AI can improve productivity, speed up iteration, and support stronger solutions when applied with clear intent and judgment.
I am a lifelong learner who takes ownership of learning the skills needed to build functional, attractive web applications.
Starting out as a hobbyist in the late 90s, I've been a web enthusiast for all of my adult life. I started with the most basic aspects of web development, HTML and CSS. I found the syntax and process cathartic and enjoyable while working through countless tutorials and building websites for exploration and understanding.
Next, I focused on learning PHP and MySQL to build dynamic websites. I enjoyed programming and intuitively took to it. I've spent hours in the documentation learning the myriad of functions available within these languages. I liked the process of designing performant databases with proper relations and indexes, and eagerly anticipated the features the next releases would bring.
As the web matured and expanded, so did my scope of interest. I added JavaScript to my stack and loved the on-page dynamic nature. As powerful frameworks began to emerge, I enjoyed adding them to my projects, most memorably jQuery.
Soon, I began offering my services as a freelancer. I built sites for small local businesses and individuals wanting a web presence. I learned the basics of project planning and client relations.
Having learned the basics, I shifted my focus again. Powerful frameworks and open-source applications began emerging. I thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with different frameworks, including WordPress and Joomla. As time went on, I continued exploring promising frameworks, including Zend and eventually Laravel.
Today, I use my understanding of the web to identify and implement web solutions without coding from scratch. This site, for example, uses Strapi for the backend and Nuxt with Tailwind CSS for the frontend. I've thoroughly enjoyed learning both of these solutions and look forward to employing them on behalf of clients.
